Dobar dan,

Internet access is limited here in Montenegro, hence my lack of activity on this list.

Balkan music is a mixed bag, the most active musicians here in Bar are a bunch of Russians called Spieldose.  Other than that there's not a lot happening outside the summer tourist season apart from karaoke.  All the action is ten hours away in Belgrade, so that's our next trip.

So far the most open & friendly country, with the easiest access to local music, has been Albania.

Everything's all a bit disorganised here and there's still a high level of animosity between neighbouring countries.  We're neutral to all of it, but it's very different to travelling in the EU.  Much more chaotic!

I've finished nine tracks so far towards the new album, which is all Asian-themed, based on our travels in Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia and Russia.  I hope to have it ready before Christmas.  Will let yiz know more when I do...
