To those on the list who listen to Popol Vuh and are collektorskum

Enrico Bassi from the Italian Popol Vuh fan club had numbered editions
of 100 of these and I believe some are still available for sale.  

Florian Fricke - Die Erde Und Ich Sind Eins/I am one with the earth CD
Repress of a private pressing album
2 long chants for 12 voices (yes, chants, like for monks, except with
vocal sweeps, or swoops, v, modern) and 1 short one (7 mins), more
like a song, with E guitar from PV stalwart Daniel Fichelscher.  Each
apparently recorded live in 1983, and the vocal tracks are clearly cut
at the end, presumably for vinyl length.  Probably the chants have
words, but my ears aren't that good.  Not improvised as such, but
there's no way they could have scripted the church bell through the
window on track one.  Magnificent.  Transcendental.  Essential.

Popol Vuh - Yoga CD
Never officially credited to PV before
1976: Florian meets Indian Musicians, proceeds to raga. Sitar and
tabla abound.  Very unusual - [read this in a Werner Herzog accent]
You know it's Florian, it's unmistakably Florian - ecstatic vocals
punctuating long, intense and florid musical passages - but there is
no overt Florian sound.  The vocals are Hindi.  The instrumentation is
Indian.  He has abandoned his piano and used 2 or 3 Indian session
musicians as his compositional tool.  Think of this as the ethnic
sitar album you play for your German friends. Or, as it was originally
intended, a record for doing yoga at.  (I think it's DF guesting on
2nd sitar on track 7 but there's no way to tell from the liner notes)
This one comes loaded with 7 bonus tracks of "proper" PV from 1971-76
that sound like they've been remixed by Pumice.  Choice!  Really, for
completists only, or the best way to get your Indian friends into
Popol Vuh: you decide!

You have to go to 2 different places on the site to order them both,
it's a fan site and it's meticulous.  The chants are in the official
discography, Yoga is in the miscellaneous recordings.
