[Af_List] Jay Clarkson in Auckland and Wellington this week

Hi all,

Following the release of Jay Clarkson's album "Over the Mountain" and
accompanying tour last November, there are going to be two rare North Island
shows this week:

Thursday April 3rd, 9.30pm
Mighty Mighty, Wellington
with Tom Watson

Saturday April 5th, 9pm
Wine Cellar, Auckland
with the Broken Heartbreakers

Jay's current band, the Matches, consists of Johannes Contag on guitar and
keyboards, David Hall on bass, and Justin Barr on drums.
Jay has only played outside of the South Island twice in the last nine
years, and two of the Matches are heading off to Europe soon - so this may
well be the last chance to catch this fine songwriter in a while.

Supporting in Wellington will be Tom Watson of Cassette, who's currently
building up a nice solo set after returning from Melbourne earlier last
year, and the Broken Heartbreakers in Auckland, who will be presenting some
even sparser arrangements than usual.
