[Af_List] Request for advise re lo cost recording gear.

I am interested in little mp3 recorders  – one that
would be useful for recording a sound range, eg,
feild, band practice, voice, 
 does anyone  know
anything about their abilities/quality/range etc – the
three I am looking at are edirol r09, zoomH4, and sony
PCM D50, but if there are other options I am keen to
hear about them
