[Af_List] Kevin Shields playing on an outright pop record

I remember there was some talk of MBV earlier... Kevin Shields is 
playing guitar for this woman Gemma Hayes and has invited her to 
play their All Tomorrows Parties festival (little different from 
Portishead asking Sunn O)))) etc).

Anyway, it's quite bizarre for being so damn ... straight.  Could 
almost be Pink in her slow moments or one of those Sixpence None 
The Richer type one-hit-wonder-off-a-soundtrack-in-the-90s bands.
