Hi Pablo + AFers

The concert (FYI for those who weren't there!) was part of the  
Cloudland exhibition curated by Su Ballard, Stella Brennan and myself  
for ADA, and was an invited show at ISEA 2008, the International  
Symposium on Electronic Arts, held in Singapore in July.

Among the works in the exhibition were radio-based sound works I  
commissioned from Bruce Russell, Adam Willetts, and PSN Electronic -  
Peter Stapleton, Su Ballard, and Nathan Thompson.

To expand on those works we had a gig after the exhibition opening on  
July 27, featuring Adam and PSN, with Peter + Nathan playing live in  
Singapore, and Su playing indeed by Skype from Port Chalmers (Bruce  
declined the invitation to come to Singapore...)

It was a great show, and most excellently was preceded by a hilarious  
gig on the street outside the Substation (venue) by Daughtry, an  
amazingly super-lame emo-ish rock dude, who once competed in American  
Idol (http://www.daughtryofficial.com/). That gig was sponsored by  
Sony Ericsson + Singtel, with tickets only for people who bought  
special new mobile phones on special new singtel plans. Ahh, anyway,  
that was an entertaining prelude, and Adam + PSN played to a packed  
and highly appreciative audience.

There are lots of photos, which will one day soon get put on the blog  
I set up but then didn't do anything with... I'll send a link when  
there's more to link to.

+ There are recordings of the show, but I'm not sure if the performers  
have discussed what to do with them - more on that later
