This is a bit off-topic, more so for those not of Auckland, but here goes...

St Kevin's Arcade entry, Karangahape Road (Item 27) is listed a a
potential site for public art in the Auckland City Council's CBD Public
art work development plan.
http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/council/documents/cbdpublicart/sites.asp

They are soliciting feedback from residents on the proposed sites:
http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/council/documents/cbdpublicart/say.asp

The current artwork types/themes are listed as:
Integrated artwork
Temporary
Polynesian

... not too inspiring so far. And i think its fair to say public art
isn't one of Auckland's strong suits.

I figure St. Kevins, Cross street and Artspace hold a special
significance for many of us, and perhaps our feedback could help cement
a nice little arts precinct in the general K'road area.

So i encourage Aucklander's to provide some advice to our council.

Regards,
Matt
