is there some kind person out there in Auckland who can donate a  
working monitor to the Audio Foundation for the use of the MP3 library?

Even better, a functioning computer would be fantastic....!

For those of you who missed Mark Knoop's electrifying performance with 
175 East on Saturday night (you know who you are...) there's another 
chance to see him while he's still in New Zealand, this time in the less 
formal setting of the Wine Cellar where he will be performing with 
dancer Julia Milsom (specially flown up from Christchurch for the 
event!) plus a fine selection of Wine Cellar regulars including John 
Bell, James Gardner and Chris O'Connor.

Amongst other things, Mark and Julia will perform some of the 'Letter 
Pieces' by composer Matthew Shlomowitz, renditions of which may be seen here
