ah im glad some one mentioned the trons, i couldnt make the show sadly, anyone go? 

thats the work of Greg Locke who is a longtime hamilton underground champion. running his orange recordings label through the 80s/90s releasing some stunning cassettes by bands like hand of glory, watershed and the still unreleased Frybrain album "goblin ace" which i believe will never come out cos they are too shy about the singing. shame cos its pretty incredible, like a really introverted awkward waikato The Clean with fuzz bass. don smith went on to Surface of the Earth from there....  Greg was in the Emersons too with adam hyde who were a early influence on the likes of Armpit and Pumice. great gentle droning noise pop songs with Greg plodding on the bass drum and bass guitar at once, ahem.

i believe the trons have been getting squillions of youtube/myspace hits, its weird and tragic and great that he had to build a 4 piece robot band to get some attention. just wanted to pay my respects.
