[Af_List] Masters of Electronica

Masters of Electronica are playing this Friday at the Adelaide with
Marineville and perhaps someone else.  (It's not like Mark Williams to
deprive us of publicity, but on this occasion he has).

This is interesting because MoE are Matt Lee and Paul Solly.  They are
Old Skool, and secretly influential.  For example, until Airport--Matt
Lee's early 90s duet with Campbell Kneale--the latter was front man
for some kind of awful U2/Head Like a Hole hybrid.  It's true.
Campbell can attest.

Between them, and with others, Lee and Solly performed and released
several guitar-driven rackets.  But silence since 1998, if you don't
count Solly's dalliance with Starcruzer.  Now they have emerged,
transformed, as Masters of Electronica.

It might be worth a look.
