Hey AFers,

Just a quick note to let you know that my band The Ribbon will be
playing this Friday at the Whammy Bar. Also on the lineup is Soft Shoe
(http://www.myspace.com/softshoeband), costume-wearing party kids
who'll bring their brand of dance, as well as The Wicks
(http://www.myspace.com/thewickstakethecake), throwing down some
angular guitar driven pop tunes.

Whammy is a fantastic venue for live music and we've been working hard
on some new material, including a dark, glitched number called "Bury
Me", and "Angels, Elders, Animals", a bouncing tropical piece, so
we're really excited about this show. Doors will open around 10:30 and
we'll be on first, playing at around 11. Be great to see you there.
