ACOUSTIC PIONEERS this week featuring
Kristen DeRosso is from New York and is here for a few months exploring the Wellington music scene. Kristen is usually part of a little duo back in the US, but seeing as she's 8,000 miles away... her other half can't really help out this time. She likes writing simple, real songs that other people can identify with.

Amy Grace has been described as " a warm blend of accoustic roots and folk ".  She is delighted to introduce her brother Nathan on rythm and harmonies.

Dre Lamb draws on blues, soul and a dash of hip hop to create his tunes, which are distinctly percussive at times. Six strings, a voice & a harp. What more do you need??

MARK TRAYLE (USA)
Mark Trayle works in a variety of media including live electronic  
music, installations, improvisation, and compositions for chamber  
ensembles. Recent venues and festivals for performances and  
exhibitions include Ballhaus Naunyn (Berlin), t-u-b-e (Munich), DEAF  
'04 (Rotterdam),  and Inventionen 2004 (Berlin). His music has been  
performed by Champs D'Action, Ensemble Zwischentoene, Kammerensemble  
Neue Musik Berlin, and Ensemble Mosaik. Recent collaborators include  
Boris Baltschun and Serge Baghdassarians, Jason Kahn, Muhal Richard  
Abrams, Toshimaru Nakamura, Wadada Leo Smith, and the Rova Saxophone  
Quartet. He is a member of the laptop band The Hub. Trayle has  
recorded for the Artifact, Atavistic, CRI, Creative Sources, Inial,  
Los Angeles River, Elektra/Nonesuch, and Tzadik labels.  http://
