Hello all

This coming Tuesday (15 April) at 7pm the first of two hour-long
programmes on Morton Feldman is being broadcast (and streamed) on Radio
New Zealand Concert as part of the Sound Lounge show, which runs from
7pm-midnight.

see: http://www.radionz.co.nz/cfm/programmes/soundlounge

and http://www.radionz.co.nz/listen

These programmes represent something of a labour of love for me and
producer Tim Dodd, and I hope you're able to tune in. There's much
interview material that you won't hear anywhere else.

Here's the blurb for programme one:

"In the first of two programmes, James Gardner surveys the development
of Morton Feldman's music from the 1940s to the 1960s including his
intensely productive association with the so-called 'New York School' of
composers.
The programme includes rarely-heard archive recordings of Feldman and
John Cage as well as exclusive interviews with composer Christian Wolff
and veteran Feldman interpreter John Tilbury."

Programme two runs in Sound Lounge the following week (22 April)

Hope you enjoy the shows.

Jim
