Thats right, ANOTHER show on next weekend! Its going to be a huge few days
in Auckland! This show is shaping up to be a fantastic evening of the
highest quality, and it starts EARLY so you can go to Battles afterwards if
yr that way inclined.

Friday September 21st brings you some of New Zealand's most incredible
musicians for an extremely rare early performance. First off we have Sunken
performing for the very first time in Auckland. Sunken is the duo of two of
NZs most spectacular artists, Stefan Neville (aka Pumice) and Antony Milton
(boss of the amazing PseudoArcana record label) playing organs, tapes,
reverb etc. Truly stunning.

>From the depths of the ocean we then move to the cosmos with a VERY rare
performance from RST (aka Andrew Moon). RST brings you solo guitar
compositions, hand crafted in the ancient tradition - the sound of before
time, the birth of stars, the astral plane and distant lawn mowers, lovingly
caught on four track tape.

As if the first two acts above weren't good enough, we also have the huge
pleasure of bringing you ANOTHER of New Zealand's finest sound artists.
Under the moniker of Lovely Midget, Rachel Shearer has released a series of
projects and performed live since 1997. TReleases on labels Ecstatic Peace,
Corpus Hermeticum, Pink Air and Family Vineyard. As part of other earlier
groups saw releases on Xpressway and Flying Nun.
Lovely Midget songs are decomposed into many small components for the
purpose of processing by reordering. For this show Lovely Midget will be
joined by Sean O'Reilly. ...Sean did not have anything to do with xpressway,
flying nun, port chalmers, christchurch, stupid junky bands or the early
nineties auckland 'scene'. Sean has done heaps since not being  dropped from
flying nun for not being a stupid fucking drunken asshole who threw up all
over their stairs and did not bother to pay for the cleaning bill.....

Also performing are Tim Coster / Nigel Wright. "With a number of musicians
working with drones these days Coster and Wright have really established
something significant within this track, as their music, never at any moment
falls into the background, but constantly engulfs the listener in swathes of
sounds so deep that one sometimes wonders whether they'll be able to come up
from this. " Cory Card (foxy digitalis , aug 14)

This show will start early at 7:00pm ON THE DOT! Please come on time to
avoid missing anyone.
