[Af_List] list - discussion and gigs suggestions

well i have to say that, like Adam, i find the event listings and the
discussion both give context to each other - splitting the theory/praxis
balance would diminish both - it would be always good to see more discussion
of course (and as a thought the suggested empyre-like curated discussions
could draw in people from outside the list as invited guests to combat the
'small community' aspect, possibly), but as for gig listings - without them
I would probably never have found out about Tim Hecker's performance in time
to actually try to arrange him to come play in Christchurch, for e.g... :)
which is surely as good an example as any of why the AF as networking body
exists....
