[Af_List] Pop Freemasons

What I've noticed happens from time to time on every list I've been on, is every once in a while people come along who really wanna be rock stars. 
 
They start talking in absolutes, about how pop is really adventurous and geeks listen to weird music, and about how experimental music is just all oboes and assholes, and about how anyone who writes about music is guilty of hype- except themselves of course, even when they run a label and boost their mates' bands in places where no-one much cares.
 
They immediately go on the defensive and start flaming the list regulars when questioned... and then disappear- back to where they live, back to nzmusic.com, perhaps??
I'm closing my eyes now, waiting for the latest rash to disappear.
